the lack of a warning note for the step down was just tragic, honestly. and let’s not even get started on that absurdly tiny tv, barely visible from any angle. as if that wasn’t bad enough, a complimentary bottle of water would’ve made me feel special—but clearly, that's too much to ask! almost gave a good review, but just couldn't.

Waking up to the aroma of a freshly made full English breakfast is a memory I cherish. The hosts, Adam and Joanna, were warm and welcoming, going above and beyond with their hospitality. The room was pristine and equipped with a heater that made my chilly nights cozy.

The shared bathroom was a slight inconvenience at times, but it was kept clean and accessible. Just a note that it really helps to plan bathroom usage ahead of time if you have a busy schedule!

The pillows were all soft, leaving no choice for a better night's sleep. Only one towel provided was a bit small for someone 6’2", which was not ideal. The bathroom extractor fan next door was noisy, running for 20 minutes every time someone turned on the light, and the TV remote didn't function properly.

my stay at the garth was fantastic! the breakfast was especially great, always ready for me when i needed it. the owners were incredibly attentive, checking in on me during my illness and offering help with local spots. the family's friendly vibe really made my experience memorable.

I stayed in the Double Room with Balcony for 2 nights, and it was super cozy. The room was quiet, and I loved having an extra heater since it was chilly outside. Plus, the little balcony was a nice touch to relax on. Everything was spotless, which made my stay really pleasant.
